Great views and peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing break. the caravan was modern and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a good shower and a well-stocked kitchen. the free WiFi was a bonus and worked well during our stay. the local town, just a short drive away, had supermarkets and shops for convenience.
It was difficult to get off the drive on foot, so having a car was necessary to access local amenities. the static caravan was surrounded by farm animals on three sides, which meant our dogs couldn't be let off the lead.

The Wi-Fi signal and phone reception were not reliable, which may be inconvenient for those needing to stay connected.

The location was peaceful and the view from the caravan was beautiful. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and they had a great attitude towards our puppy. The caravan was well-heated upon arrival and had a homely touch with books, maps, and other amenities. It was also an excellent base for exploring the surrounding region.
The cooking utensils were a bit flimsy and the toilet seat was loose. It would have been better if there was an enclosed area to walk the dog, but there was a nearby park that was just a short drive away.

Our stay at Barnkirk Holidays was absolutely amazing. The peace and quiet of the location made for a truly relaxing experience. The owners, Ian and Cheryl, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They accommodated our request for a late check-out without any issue. The caravan itself was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the owners had provided little extras like milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits, which was a nice touch. The well-maintained mobile home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the stunning views from the outside decking area, where we experienced some breathtaking sunsets. The rural location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, and it was just a short drive to Newton Stewart and the beautiful Galloway Forest Park. The price for what we got was exceptional, and we highly recommend Barnkirk Holidays for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The location of Barnkirk Holidays Villa was absolutely perfect for our stay. It provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere that was ideal for a relaxing break. The house itself was a true gem, with a spacious kitchen and a sunny conservatory where we could enjoy our meals. What impressed us the most was the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed including a blender and a potato peeler, something you don't often find in holiday accommodations. The washer dryer was also a great convenience, allowing us to do laundry before heading home. We were thrilled to have an enclosed garden for our dogs to play in, and the travel cot provided for our baby was a fantastic bonus. The nearby dog walks were perfect for exercise, and the barbecue in the garden allowed us to enjoy some outdoor cooking. we loved our stay at Barnkirk Holidays Villa and would definitely choose to stay there again if we find ourselves needing accommodation in the area.
While the weather during our stay was good, it wasn't exceptional.
